Tugwell

Here are the latest pictures of the construction work at Tugwell

Early Sept 2009 - Fencing and Spectator Rail being installed

End June 2009 - excavation of car park

Early April 2009 - construction of access from A417

The Club is working with the Vale of the White Horse District Council on the creation of a full size football pitch, plus training area and changing/catering facilities. The proposed site is at Tugwell to the east of Wantage, just off the A417.

This development represents a great opportunity for the Club as it will give us a "home" of our own, although we will still be dependent on Wantage Town FC and King Alfreds School for facilities. However to make it happen we will need to raise substantial funds, and therefore require full parental support.

If you are prepared to help us with fundraising or any other activity please contact Peter Garratt.

We have produced a Club Newsletter about the planned developments - the "Tugwell Times" - download the first edition here (PDF format - requires Adobe Acrobat Reader)
